Used - Good Condition
Body: there are some scratches and scuff marks (light to moderate buckle rash) and some small dings that can be seen on the top, back, and sides; the pickguard has some scuff marks on it from normal use, plus there are two holes and some scuff marks between the bridge and the bridge pickup--perhaps this guitar had a synth pickup installed at one point; the jackplate, neckplate, and tremolo cover have some light scratches on them
Neck, Fretboard, and Headstock: the fretboard looks almost flawless except for a small ding on the treble side edge between the locking nut and the first fret; the back of the neck has a few small to medium-sized dings that can be found the 6th and 15th fret positions, but these should not affect comfort or playability; the front, back, and sides of the headstock have some small scratches and dings, most of which are actually on the front particularly around the edges, plus there is some light checking in the lacquer on the front overlay
Action and Playability: the action is about medium-low, plus the neck is straight and the truss rod functions flawlessly
Frets: light to moderate wear
Hardware: the tuners and the bridge look fantastic; the jackplate and neckplate have some light scratches on them
Electronics: all functions flawlessly, but some rust can be seen on the back row of pole pieces on the bridge pickup
Includes: electric guitar and hardshell case
The Kramer Pacer Deluxe is the classic pickguard-equipped HSS Pacer, with a bridge humbucker, two single-coils, Floyd Rose tremolo, three-knob layout, five-way selector, and mini-toggle switching for added pickup options. It is the main HSS Pacer before the Custom I and Custom II, and it is easiest to distinguish by its Strat-style pickguard layout, compared with the HH Imperial and Carrera, the single-humbucker Special and Standard, and the later rear-routed Custom I and II models. Built for hard rock and shred-style playing, it remains a defining icon of the mid-1980s guitar era. This stealthy looking axe is ready to rip it up!
