The Dunlop HT-1 Heil Talk Box is a prominent effect used by Peter Frampton, Aerosmith, Joe Walsh and more...unique in both its sound and function. Rather than being connected alongside the rest of your pedal chain, hook up the Talk Box between the speaker output of your amplifier and the input of the cabinet. A small speaker within the HT-1's metal enclosure will shoot your signal up the tube (not included) which goes into your mouth near the vocal microphone. As you play, moving your mouth into various shapes will produce distinctive "talking" effects in a way far more expressive than the emulation pedals could ever dream of!
