Used - Good Condition
Body: there are a couple of lacquer cracks in the top extending from the bridge to the bottom edge and a small chip in the finish along the back, treble side edge of the lower bout; top, back, and sides all show a few scuff marks, scratches, and dings--light to moderate buckle rash; the pickguard has some scratches on it from normal playing, and the binding is all intact except for a small chip along the front bass side of the upper bout
Neck, Fretboard, and Headstock: the fretboard looks virtually flawless; there are a couple of obvious chips in the finish along the back of the neck, plus some other light scratches and small dings that should not affect comfort or playability; the headstock has some light scuff marks and scratches on the front and back, plus some small chips and scrapes in the finish can be seen along the sides and edges
Action and Playability: the action is about medium-low, plus the neck is straight, the truss rod functions flawlessly, and there is not bridge lift or neck heel separation
Frets: light to moderate wear with some small grooves starting to form in the first three frets (mostly the 2nd and third), however there is no fret out or buzzing at this time
Hardware: the tuners look fantastic
Electronics: all function flawlessly and the Volume wheel moves nice and smoothly
Includes: acoustic-electric guitar and original hardshell case
This Guild F-30 is an acoustic-electric guitar with a solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard and bridge. It has an Orchestra model body with a single cutaway and is known for its "no-nonsense" appearance, powerful tone, and comfortable playability. Key features include a bone nut and saddle, chrome tuners, pearl dot inlays, and a Chesterfield/logo inlay on the headstock. It was made in Westerly, Rhode Island, during the "Westerly Era" before the 1995 acquisition by Gibson. Guild's are a personal favorite of mine and this one plays like a dream and sounds incredible...do not miss out on it!
