Used - Good Condition
Body: on the top there are two long cracks in the lacquer extending from about the bridge to the binding along the bottom and two more shorter lacquer cracks, one also along the bottom binding and the other along the binding on the treble side, plus there are some easily noticeable dings, dents and scratches that can be seen on the top; a few scuff marks and small dings can be found on the back and sides--no buckle rash; the binding is all intact
Neck, Fretboard, and Headstock: the fretboard has a couple of very light scuff marks upon close inspection and a few dings along the edges; the back of the neck looks virtually flawless; the front, back, and sides of the headstock look almost flawless, but the very end edge does have some obvious scrapes on it
Action and Playability: the action is medium, plus the neck is straight, the truss rod functions flawlessly, and there is no bridge lift or neck heel separation
Frets: no wear
Hardware: the tuners look fantastic
Electronics: the volume and tone control move smoothly and function properly, and both output jacks are intact and function properly

The Ovation Model 1613 is an American-made acoustic-electric nylon-string classical guitar produced between 1971 and 1983. It features Ovation's signature Lyrachord deep bowl body, a solid spruce top, and an ebony fretboard. Known as a "Classic Electric," the 1613 features a 5-piece mahogany/maple neck, a 2-inch nut width, piezo bridge pickup, and active stereo electronics. This one here for sale was made in 1979 and does show some scars but still sounds and plays like a dream (after our guitar tech fixed it up!)!
