The built-in stereo speakers are powered by two 22W amplifiers for rich sound right out of the box (currently these speakers do not function). Each of the styles of the XD9 has four arrangers with multiple intros, fills, and endings to quickly create accompaniment parts. The intuitive interface is particularly useful in live applications where the tools you need must be accessed quickly. The large backlit display provides vital information at a glance. A plethora of connectors are provided, including MIDI in, out, and thru, mic in and out, and 1\/4\" audio outputs, allowing you to hook up a variety of professional equipment. Volume and sustain pedal inputs are provided, as well as a footswitch connector, allowing you to attach optional 6 and 13-switch units that give you hands-free control of arranger features and of the Arabic scale.
