The ES-330 is a fully hollow thinline double cutaway, meaning it lacks the center wood block found on its semi-hollowbody counterpart, the ES-335. Also, in contrast to the 335, the 330TD was built with a pair of P-90 pickups as opposed to humbuckers, and with a neck joint at the 17th fret instead of the 19th fret. The ES-330 was released in 1959 for a retail price of $275.00. Like most all American-made classics around that time, the value has gone up over the decades and will certainly continue to do so...make this one yours while you can afford
