The Troubadour was marketed by Guild as the ideal guitar for solo playing, vocal ballad accompaniment, and light strumming. Because of its narrow waist and comfortable size, it rests easily in the lap, making it a favorite among fingerstyle blues and folk musicians. The smaller body yields a very focused, articulate midrange that is distinctly vintage.
